About the FXW Titanest Chew-Proof Elevated Dog Bed
Titanest is a chew-proof dog bed designed for durability and comfort.
Made with a 100% aluminum alloy frame and tear-resistant fabric, it withstands digging, scratching, and chewing. The waterproof fabric prevents anything from seeping in and is easy to clean. It supports larger breeds, dogs with aging joints - and also puppies who cannot be trusted with most beds.
The bed arrives pre-assembled, and you can easily add the legs without needing to use any tools. For indoor use, you can replace the legs with silicone pads (included) to prevent scratching and slipping.
A unique feature among elevated beds is that the Titanest has padded middle sections that maintain its shape and support even with long-term use. The smallest (24") bed can accommodate dogs up to 100 lbs, while the biggest size (58") has a 300 lbs maximum load capacity.

In today’s consumer society, I appreciate that FXW really puts durability in focus with creating this low-maintenance, easy-to-clean, and chew-resistant dog bed. While they call it chew-proof on the website, we know there are super hard chewers out here who could make a dent in this bed but it is still as chew-resistant as a bed can get.
If I need a puppy bed today, I would probably vote for this one. If it gets dirty or there is an accident, you can literally hose it down, wipe it and it looks new. It is padded but the fabric doesn’t have any corners or edges where a pup could start chewing. The weakest points are probably the plastic corners but they are also rounded down as much as possible not to provide an easy target for chewing.
The option to switch up the legs is also great - for example, you can use the shorter silicone covers for crates to add a padded base.
If I am pressed to come up with a con for this bed, the only thing I could say is that some dogs don’t like the somewhat slippery surface of the cover. This will always be a tradeoff between durability and easy cleaning vs comfort but I thought I would mention that.
FXW Titanest Review Summary
Altogether I am pretty impressed with the Titanest bed. It seems to be durable and I heard great feedback on it from people with dogs who destroyed all previous beds. It is reasonably priced and I can easily imagine that it would hold up for 15 years as they say in the product description.
This bed is a great low-profile option for both indoor and outdoor use and it represents the perfect middle ground between comfort and durability.
