DogGo Hands-free Leash Set Review
DogGo’s Hands-Free Set is designed for active dog owners seeking convenience and safety. It is a great option for dogs with great leash skills to keep your hands free when needed, or as a backup for dogs who suddenly bolt and are a flight risk.
While this is a lightweight set, it is also created with durability and safety in mind - you can find some break strength information below:

The Hands-Free Adventure Belt features a magnetic Fidlock buckle for easy attachment and release, and the has a wide adjustment range. An auto-locking carabiner provides a secure connection between the belt and the leash, preventing accidental detachment. The large carabiner also makes it easier to clasp it around their padded leash.
The belt also includes a leash holder so you can fold up the leash and easily tuck it away when the dog is off-leash.
The Adjustable Padded Leash makes it easy to accommodate various walking scenarios, from casual strolls to more controlled walks. The leash has an Anodized Aluminum auto-locking swivel carabiner and a Stainless Steel D-ring. Reflective yarn woven into the webbing enhances visibility in low-light conditions while the Neoprene padded handle provides added comfort.
The Reflective Everyday Collar is a low-profile, practical option also with reflective webbing. It has a big adjustment range, a Chrome-Plated Zinc buckle, and a plastic tag holder to minimize jingle from the ID tag and to prevent accidentally attaching the leash to the ID tag’s ring instead of the collar.
DogGo is a small company offering a versatile dog walking set with smart features and made of quality materials. As Zulu has great leash skills, I enjoyed using this set and found it very helpful in busy environments like when checking in and out of hotels or at the vet so I can keep my hands free while maintaining control.
The belt is comfortable to use and I always love the Fidlock buckle on a gear. The buckle is not held together by the magnet, the magnet merely aligns the two sides, which then snap securely into place. The Fidlock buckles are pretty strong and safe and unlikely to open due to tension on the belt - although it is not impossible if the little string gets caught on something and pulled out.
While the belt is great for distributing the leash pressure on you, it is not for pulling sports. We need to distinguish between a dog walking set being able to handle a sudden lunge versus withstanding a large dog pulling on it on a daily basis which is not something this set is designed for.
Altogether this is a well-made set with high-quality hardware and stitching. We have been using it for a couple of months for controlled walks and busy areas and did not run into any issues with the Fidlock buckle or any other parts of the gear.
All parts of the set currently come in the same five colors making it easy to mix and match what you need. They are working on the release of the Leash Coupler to make walking two dogs easier which will be a geat addition to their product line!
